All About Refrigerator Air Dryers

High-quality compressed air has become an essential tool for modern manufacturers or technology companies. The most varied compressed air-operated drive motors, pneumatic grippers, compressed air presses, and impact wrenches require low humidity air for optimum reliability and life.

A variety of air drying solutions are available that provide dew point control and prevent condensation degradation when operating downstream air devices. You can also check for the best refrigerated air dryers via the web.

Of the conventional air dryers sold today, dehumidifiers offer the lowest dew points as low as -40°C. Dehumidifiers work by directing air through highly porous and hygroscopic material such as aluminum oxide, which extracts vapor from the gas stream and traps it for adsorption.

The electronic control switches between the two dryers in a fixed cycle depending on the desired dew point, pressure, and pressurized gas flow.

Coolant dryers provide humidity control by using one or more refrigerant circuits. The vapor condenses on the heat exchanger cooling pipe and flows into a collection container which can be emptied manually or automatically.

While there is a higher upfront cost to implementing a refrigeration dryer, a well-designed system will dry the air more efficiently, resulting in lower operating costs for larger operations.

There are many more specialty dryers available for certain unique uses. The main advantage of this type of dryer is its simplicity as a passive system and thus no electricity is required for its operation.
